"Discover the potential in SAP E-SOA" will give you: An introduction to and examples of what SAP E-SOA stands for and examples of business benefits which can be created. SAP E-SOA is the name of a group of new SAP tools for integration to Users, Vendors, Customers and systems. Focus of presentations Thursday.

The presentations in the area of
"System life, Start, Control, Maintain and Close down" will give you: Examples of system life "thinking" which have has been successful by Boxon AB and Institutt for energiteknikk, Halden. The SAP Tool Solution Manager (SolMan) will be explained. Customer and SAP Quality checked IT solutions which are proven to bring business benefits will be presented. "IT Management" will give you: Automation and support solutions and presentations from experience of implementation and maintenance. Focus of presentation Wednesday.

The presentations in the area of:

"Process improvement" Business Process Management (BPM) will show how to use the tools in SAP to get document "as is" , get started and to the goal of the improved process as fast as possible.

Session 1
Business Process Management blending with SOA: A New Strategic Context?
It is a known fact that the future success of a company will be based on optimized and effective processes and not necessarily the products or innovation coming out of the company. Therefore, major enterprises across the globe are focusing more and more on process efficiency and effectiveness as a competitive advantage. In addition, to take full advantage of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), enterprises need to have more transparency on their core processes, how they work and how well they work. Only process-driven companies will have continuous success in these areas.
Session 2
Steps to Becoming a Process Oriented Organization based on SAP AG internal Process Office
This session provides details on what company has to do to implement Business Process Management. There are three phases that need to be completed: The BPM Set-up -, The BPM Transition - and Continuous Improvement Phase. In each one of these phases, four areas need to be considered: People (skills, training, performance management, etc.), Processes (strategy linked to processes, business operations, etc.), Structures (roles, decision-making bodies, BPM methods, process landscape, etc.) and Technology (BPM Tools, IT Services and Support, etc.). The session will be based on SAP AG internal Process Office.
Session 3
From Business Process Management to Composite Process Modeling
Based on a new defined To-Be process, modeled in ARIS Business Architect, there will be an integrated example based on the Business and IT views of the new process and how to build a Composite Application based on services using the tools of the SAP NetWeaver Composition Environment 7.1. The session will introduce the different roles involved i.e. Process Owner, Business Process Expert.

In this presentation, the world’s only chair in parapsychology and hypnosis will describe the evidence, and critiques, of parapsychology, with an emphasis on the observed phenomena of person/machine interactions (e.g., reputed observations of machines non functional in repeatedly in someone’s presence).

Parapsychology, the scientific study of reputed psi phenomena such as telepathy and psycho kinesis (“mind over matter”), has been active now for more than a century and there is a substantial amount of replicated studies. There are proposals for future research on observed phenomena of person/machine interactions which will be presented in the presentation.
