IBM DB2 er optimalisert for alle SAP applikasjoner og spesielt for SAP ERP og SAP NetWeaver BW.

Gjennom innebygde komprimeringsteknikker oppnår man en større ytelse i tillegg til redusert behov for lagringskapasitet.

Administrasjon av databasen er godt på vei automatisert og monitoreres gjennom SAP.
DB2 vil med andre ord ha en god ROI som i sin tur vil frigjøre midler til andre formål.

Dear Worldwide SAP User Group Leadership,
I’d like to introduce myself in my new role as SAP’s Chief Operating Officer (COO) on the SAP Executive Board.  The mission of the COO Board area is to drive customer value orientation and therefore to be the customer’s advocate by ensuring a tight feedback loop to SAP Development, our Support, and Field Organizations. It is our clear desire as SAP to work even closer with our customers.  And, part of that is working closely with you as the leadership of our independent SAP User Groups worldwide.

Today, I am very pleased to introduce to you a new organization as part of my Board area which is going to manage the relations with the independent SAP User. We are currently transitioning the Global Customer Communities team into this new group which will be led by Greg Pike, reporting directly to me. Greg has been with SAP for more than 14 years, most recently as the Senior Vice President of SAP Active Global Support, Americas. He has thrived in various leadership roles throughout his 30 year career – always supporting customers
Greg will be taking over the leadership role previously held by Stefan Kneis, who pioneered the creation of a  Global Team within SAP supporting you in your role as User Group leadership.

I’d like to personally thank Stefan for his outstanding contributions and commitment to the success of our customers worldwide. He is going to take on a new role in my area within Quality, Governance and Production which will continue to ensure SAP meets the needs of all of our customers.Sincerely, Gerd Oswald
