About Adfahrer
Adfahrer was as a company was created in 1993 as an advice bureau. Since 1998 Adfahrer dedicated to and continuously worked with the creation and administration of User Groups and conferences.
Eva-Maria Fahrer saw the need for a good and qualitative experience exchange between people. Adfahrer was created to make the experience exchange between people easier and less time consuming.
A User Group must be administered with a quality focus and this takes dedication, knowledge and many different areas of competence.
In 1998 a joint decision was taken in the former SAP User Group, SAPSA, to transfer the compentence exchange and meeting activities to the earlier chairwoman Eva-Maria Fahrer and her company. Thomas Hjelm at the time an emplpoyee at Folksam was voted in as the new chairman of SAPSA. A qualitative and rewarding cooperation for both parties commenced. The goal was to create a wide programme which would create business value and stimulate innovation.

- The Swedish SAP User Group was created
- 1993
- The company which was to evolve into Adfahre AB was created
- 1996-1997
- Eva-Maria Fahrer was chairwoman of the Swedish SAP User Group
- 1998
- Eva-Maria Fahrer became a part-time consult and a professional experience exchange enthusiast. The foundation to the current Adfahrer AB was created.
- The first Swedish User Group magazine was created and distributed. The number of members increased to 55 companies and 15 activities were planned.
- 1999
- The number of members increased to 77 Swedish companies. 37 meeting activities were planned
- 2000
- The agreement with SAP Svenska Användarföreningen (SAPSA) was signed
- An agreement was signed with SAP Brukergruppe Norge (SBN) and Adfahrer started up it's Norwegian department
- 2001
- The amount of activities in Sweden were inreased and by member request seminars were also planned in more locations than Stockholm. This year Göteborg, Malmö and Stockholm had 17 planned activities each. In Norway the activities were also spread widely in location.
- 2003
- The foundation for the technical solution behind our User Groups were created and offered to new potential User Group customers.
- Adfahrer becomes the first Swedish customer buying and implementing SAP Buisiness One. The new system is used for the customer database, sales support, sales orders, invoicing and accounts receivable and is since 2006 through extensive development completly integrated into our User Group web functionality.
- A standardized User Group package is created and offered as a fixed price solution. An service for countinued operation is also created.
- StreamServe signes the first agreement about buying a package solution. Adfahrer receives the assignment to start and run StreamServes Nordic User GRoup. The mission is to create an independent User Group consisting of selected customers and partners.
- 2004
- In January the first agreement about running the StreamServe User Group is signed by the StreamServe User Group committee and StremServe.
- Adfahrer starts up a new SAP User Group for Sweden called Adsig.
- 2005
- Adfahrer insources operation and maintenance of it's IT infrastructure. An important step for the new web based User Group functionality that Adfahrer offers today.
- 2006
- An agreement is signed with SAS Institute for a new User Group called FANS. A package User Group solution including web, newsletters and drafts for records, constitutions, agreements and more.
- 2007
- Adfahrer signs a SAP Education Partner agreement
- A new SAP demo system (ides) is installed to be used during the new SAP End User Education. The first SAP End User Education is performed on the theme Accounts Payable.
