The management conference is different from most IT and SAP focused events.
The customer driven approach gives us freedom to openly discuss and exchange ideas with the nordic dimension.

The goal of the conference is to give impulses which will improve the business value of IT solutions and IT based processes. Interesting for experienced Manangers / IT managers / Chief architects from all 4 countries to give their IT visions and share their experience. How do they use Key Performance Indicators? What do they measure and did they get the expected ROI? These presentations will give us a platform for a structured exchange of ideas among the participants.

Finally the program will contain Gartner who has deep knowledge about KPI's which will give valuable input to improvements in this area. We have SAP in common and will get information on the SAP Business suite strategy based on live business cases.

Hartmut BackhausGet your processes aligned – Make sure they match your operation
A large number of companies leave their business processes after the implementation untouched. But how can they be sure that the processes still match with operation? No doubt is it essential to have processes more aligned than ever to get access to the mobility age, perhaps in conjunction with in-memory computing. Or, as an alternative, to ultimately create a process repository based on the “footprints” left in the system over a period of time to identifying deviations and thereof improvements in addition.

Thomas TherbornShorten your projects - the tools are there – but you have to use them…and your stubborn brain!
We talk about Agile development. Often meaning flexible, but could also mean a never ending story with chaotic order. If you want flexibility you need to have inflexible plans. Only with a rigid planning you can divert from the plan, because you will find your way back to the plan. Rigid plans with rigid goals. In chewable chunks. That’s what’s it gonna take!

Since we here are focusing on SAP, most projects are upgrade projects or add-ons like a CRM-part onto the ERP. By that sometimes planning is not that rigid, because “we’ve done it before”. This is dangerous! Add-on projects are the most difficult ones, just because you take things for granted. You take people, processes and performance for granted! Don’t!!

SAP has several tools for rapid deployment and shortened projects, we will look into some of them. The infrastructure-department has several tools for test-environments, we will look into some. The essentials of this topic is that to be agile and successful, YOU have to be rigid! Once again it’s about people. But what kind of people?! Come to see how it shall be done!

How rigid you are, foremost in the preparation-phase, will be the measurement of the success of your project!
