Martin finished university as a mechanical engineer in 1997. Directly after that he joined SAP as a developer for order BOMs. Over the time he has been part of several other organizations inside SAP AG (PLM Field Services, Automotive Industry), but always dedicated towards the topic of PLM. With the beginning of the PLM 7 roadmap Martin moved to the Solution Management Team for SAP PLM in Walldorf and is now the Solution Architect for SAP PLM.

Vattenfall will present how they address the combination of CAE (Computer Aided Engineering) and Plant Lifecycle Management to Unify Plant Asset Collaboration @ Ringhals. Unified Plant Asset Collaboration integrates the various phases starting with design and development, implementation and operation and completing the lifecycle loop with the evaluation and redesign. The entire process is documented including tasks, activities, data changes etc to secure that the documentation always reflects reality.
